Here are some photos from a scouting mission that Elaine and I did at the end of last summer to look at the possibility of swimming around Plum Island. We talked to a Ranger at the Audubon Society who provided a key piece of information. If we don't time it to avoid low tide we could be crawling in mud in the Joppa Flats.
